Forestry and the environment – lots to talk about!

Andy Moffat is looking forward to a busy period of giving talks and lectures and chairing meetings, fulfilling the company’s interest and capability in training and education services. Next week he is chairing the launch of the Scottish ”Climate Ready” Forest Network (http://www.forestry.gov.uk/fr/INFD-99WHW4}, followed by delivery of talks on wildfire at “Wildfire 2013” in Cardiff on 23rd October (http://www.ruraldevelopment.org.uk/wildfire/), a seminar on forestry research opportunities at the University of Reading on 31st October, a talk on urban forestry for the “Air Pollution Research in London” (APRIL) network on 6th November (http://www.april-network.org/home/) and teaching at the University of Central Lancashire on the 7th. Perhaps the last lecture of the year will be on the “Geography of the Solent” in Portsmouth on 18th for the Portsmouth Canoe Club, of which Andy is a proud member (http://www.portsmouth-canoe-club.org/home).
