  • Soil Basics for Foresters. Designer and deliverer of a series of one and two day workshops, taken up by a range of forestry authorities and professional organisations including ICF, RFS, NRW, Tilhill forestry, FFF, Woodland Trust (2018-2023+)
  • ICE Manual of Blue-Green Infrastructure. Co-author of chapter on blue-green infrastructure on mineral sites (2023). 
  • Public Perceptions of Urban Trees in England, Scotland and Wales (2022). Co-author of series of reports from this major study, originally conceived by Andy Moffat
  • Pan-European wildfire risk assessment (2022). Co-author of report published by European Union.
  • Petersfield Community Tree Location Survey. Identifying public places for planting trees.  Designer and manager of this community science project. Lead author for project report (2021).
  • State of Europe’s Forests (2020). Co-author of this authoritative report published by FOREST EUROPE.
  • Beech tree stress, soil conditions and drought at Burnham Beeches. Report of investigation to City of London Corporation (2019).
  • Basic criteria to assess wildfire risk at the Pan-European level. Co-author of report published by European Union (2019).
  • Petersfield’s Trees – their importance and value.  Designer and manager of this community science project based on i-Tree methodology.  Lead author for project report (2016-2017).
  • New attitudes to urban trees in Britain. Working with Trees for Cities to develop this project (2016).
  • Soils for Arboriculturists. Workshop project designer and deliverer. (Arboricultural Association, 2016).
  • Handbook on Green Infrastructure. Planning, design and implementation. Author of two chapters. (Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd, 2014-2015).
