Andy Moffat gives presentation at the “Climate Smart Forestry” Institute of Chartered Foresters 2022 National Conference

Last week, Andy Moffat gave a presentation at this important conference in Glasgow, which ran from 26th to 27th April and was attended by over 250 delegates, either in person or online. Opened by the Scottish Environment Minister, Mairi McAllan MSP, the conference focused on challenges posed by predicted climate change in Britain, and how the forestry sector could rise to them. Andy was invited to speak on the risks to forest soils and his presentation “What are the likely effects of climate change on forest soils and what can foresters do to help?” was well received.
