Comprehensive new guidance setting out the importance of green infrastructure and how to design and achieve its many benefits has just been published by Edward Elgar Publishing. Ably pulled together and edited by colleagues at the University of West England, the ‘Handbook on Green Infrastructure’ consists of twenty three chapters and is nearly 500 pages in length. Andy Moffat was delighted to be asked to write the chapter on ‘Green Infrastructure and Regeneration of Brownfield Land’ and to lead on the final chapter examining ‘The future of Green Infrastructure’. Further information on this volume can be obtained at http://www.e-elgar.com/shop/handbook-on-green-infrastructure. A nice review of the Handbook published by the Town and Country Planning Association can be downloaded HERE.
