This is the title of an evening session organised by Brownfield Briefing. The meeting has been called to explore the implications of the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s recent ‘Mansion House’ speech in which he identified that councils will be required to put Local Development Orders on more than 90% of brownfield sites that are suitable for housing. According to the Government, this means that “all unnecessary planning restrictions” will be removed and this “will significantly accelerate construction”. Andy Moffat will chair the meeting which will be held in London on 30 September 2014, starting at 18.00. For further details click HERE.
